I'd say it is ... it's my favorite next to Far Beyond Driven thats for sure. It's got a different feel from all the other albums completely .... and its got a different vibe, its hard to explain.

This album is personally my favorite they ever made. far beyond driven kicks major ass and is balls to the wall metal but trendkill is different. even though phil had his heroin addiction during this time, he was still extremely creative with his lyrics, Dime unleashed amazing riffs and whatnot, Rex sounded more heavy and badass and Vinnie got some fuckin major drum beats going. suicide note pt2 is proly my favorite song on this album but the entire thing is just kick ass and right down your fuckin throat heavy.

I love how dark the album is, and you can really tell how rough Phil's life is at the time; he does seem separated from the bad. Weather or no that is a good thing it helps give the album its vibe.

And TGSTK punched me in the face and I woke up a week later.

This is the first album I got by the band and also my favorite. Suicide Notes, 10's, The Great Southern Trendkill, Floods and War Nerve are some of my favorite songs as well.

I love Phil's vocals and the distant, estranged and often angry lyrics on this album.
